I attended the very first Chomp & Stomp (was that 2003?!?! lord) and back then the park was mostly dirt. Fabricate was in full force and we had a little booth selling our wares to boozed up chili eaters.
The park has developed into something beautiful that I am grateful to have just down the street.
The festival has also grown tremendously, so much so that this years festival will also be in the Esther Peachey Lefever Park.
I do miss the days when the festival was smaller, but as long as I can find a spot for my blanket I’m happy. We’re definitely having an after party this year.
